North Cadbury Court wedding photographer

I’m very excited to share with you Lena & Charlie’s North Cadbury Court wedding in Somerset. What a stunning venue in a very beautiful part of the country. I’d first met Lena & Charlie on Skype last year when they described how beautiful North Cadbury Court is, they weren’t wrong either. The name by the way has nothing to do with a certain chocolate bar, although the village is chocolate box pretty.

I arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony and met up with Charlie who at this point was dressed in a T-shirt, I then headed up to photograph Lena getting ready before catching up with Charlie again once he was dressed. It was a very short walk to the church, I do love these sort of venues with a church in the grounds. At the church I was greeted by the very friendly vicar who moved a few things around to get the perfect place for me to photograph the ceremony from, if only all vicars liked photographers as much! I use a silent shutter for the quiet parts of the ceremony which allows me to work discreetly. After the ceremony guests had a confetti moment before heading to the gardens for the drinks reception.

Fireworks

The weather was pretty amazing, which allowed everyone to enjoy the grounds and gorgeous views. The evening rounded off with a surprise firework display.
