Nigerian wedding photography at Heaton House Farm

Tolani & Ebuwa’s amazing Nigerian wedding at Heaton House Farm.

My second Nigerian wedding in a year, although by far the biggest wedding I’ve photographed with several hundred guests. Nigerian weddings are always very colourful with guests wearing amazing outfits. The wedding ceremony was at St Paul’s church in Sale, which was completely full. The reception was at Heaton House Farm.

Nigerian wedding traditions include the families dancing in to the wedding breakfast, this went on for about 40 minutes!

My coverage started with the bride getting ready at a nearby hotel before heading to St Paul’s.

Rain had set in by the time Ebuwa arrived for the ceremony at St Paul’s but had cleared up by the time the ceremony ended.

It’s always lovely when I’m able to photograph the ceremony from the front, not all vicars allow this which is a shame as I love to capture the emotion and joy on the couples faces as they get married.

The ceremony was live streamed for those unable to attend.

Heaton House Farm have a fabulous room capable of hosting such a large wedding party.

A change of outfits for the bride and groom before the evening party got into full swing.
