Looking back on 2017 and forward to 2018. A year of natural, reportage wedding photography.

It’s that time of the year again when I look back on the last twelve months and forward to the new wedding season. What a year it has been too, with weddings all over the UK as well as a wedding in the Menorca sunshine. It really doesn’t seem that long ago I was talking to all these couples about their wedding plans, time flies!

2017 saw me back at some of my favourite wedding venues as well as many new ones to me, I had a wedding 590ft up in the London skyline, a wedding at Dartmouth Naval College, a wedding surrounded by the beauty of Edale and a wedding in Scotland. I photographed three same sex weddings, a couple of Asian weddings and an outdoor festival style wedding. I photographed weddings in the pouring rain and in brilliant sunshine. I captured the I do’s, the funny speeches, the tears of joy, action on the dance floor and the love between couples and their families.

I work in a very natural storytelling style, capturing everything that is important to you while not taking over your day. In years to come your wedding photographs will allow you to relive your emotions.

A big thank you to each and every one of the couples who allowed me to capture their wedding day.

Here are the images that sum up my year. Will I be photographing your wedding in 2018? Contact me today to check availability and for a friendly chat about your wedding plans.
