Natural wedding photography

I’m Simon Atkins, my style is natural wedding photography telling the story of your day in beautiful images. I’m very much hands off in my approach to wedding photography, I document what I see rather than staging events, the resulting images are very honest and show far more about the day than posed photographs ever could. A lot of couples book me because they don’t want their wedding day based around the photographs, they prefer to enjoy their day knowing I will capture real events and moments.

I won’t place any demands on your time, most couples do ask for a small amount of family photographs and I’m very happy to arrange these for you, other than that I capture your day without any prompting or interruption, using my years of experience to look for interesting and meaningful photographs of you, your family and guests. To date I have photographed well over 1,000 weddings in locations as diverse as Venice, Scotland, Cornwall, London, Menorca, Ireland, Manchester, France, Norfolk and in fact just about all corners of England and Wales.

 

Lena and I looked through our beautiful album last night. It is a stunning presentation of your outstanding photos of such a phenomenal day that really enabled us to relive everything with enormous grins on our faces! As I’ve mentioned before, you have managed to capture not just the main significant moments from a unique and stimulating perspective, you have also somehow managed to seemingly be in the background everywhere else to catch so many small moments that collectively reflect the whole wonderful atmosphere of the day.   – Charlie and Lena
