Dodmoor House wedding

Dodmoor House wedding photography – Tracey and Andrew.

Another Northamptonshire wedding this last weekend when I was at Dodmoor House near Weedon for Tracey and Andrew’s very colourful wedding. Do not adjust your monitor, the theme was bright pink.  The great thing with Dodmoor House is you get it all to yourself for the day so it has a much more relaxed atmosphere than a hotel.  The weather was fantastic, the second warmest day of the year with temperatures around 28C.

The ceremony took place in the Courtyard Barn followed by the wedding breakfast in the Catesby Barn at Dodmoor House, in between guests made the most of the weather with drinks on the lawn.

After dinner Tracey and Andrew sneaked off for a kiss next to the canal and a shortt walk from Dodmoor House, the peace and quiet was short lived as we came under attack from a Narrow Boat full of pirates, not exactly what you expect to find on the Grand Union Canal. The pirates disappeared off into the distance with cries of OOH AHH and much waving of plastic swords as Tracey and Andrew walked back to Dodmoor House to greet their evening guests before the first dance.
