UK wedding venues – Higham Ferrers wedding photography

I’m a Higham Ferrers wedding photographer, a small historic town in Northamptonshire. I photograph wedding across the UK and overseas, I also love to photograph weddings right here on my doorstep in Higham Ferrers.

Catherine and Ross married at St Mary’s Church in Higham Ferrers, their wedding reception was at Holdenby House. My coverage started with Catherine’s preparations at her parents home in Higham Ferrers. These photographs are just the part of the wedding in Higham Ferrers. In total I presented Catherine and Ross with about 400 beautiful photographs from the pre wedding preparations to the first dance.

We are blessed in Higham Ferrers with the beautiful St Mary’s Church (website link) situated in the churchyard with The Bede House and Chantry Chapel. St Mary’s was founded in the 13th Century at a time when Higham Ferrers was given a town charter by Henry III. Like many churches in the UK, later additions and alterations were made to the building. From the Market Square little can be seen of the church other than the spire.

St Mary’s is a great church for photography, the interior is very light and has some beautiful features, the carvings on the porch are amazing and make a great background to photographs of your family and friends greeting you as you leave the church. Father Grant is a friendly vicar and makes you feel very welcome at St Mary’s.
